Is my event date available?
This is the very first info I will require from you! I tend to book months in advance so please include the date of your event in your email/voicemail so I can check if your date is still available. Please note that I do not keep a waiting list.
Can I visit your bakery?
Unfortunately, no. I am a very small, busy bakery. Every cake I make is handcrafted to order, I don't have cakes or other baked goods ready-made and available for purchase. Health Department regulations also factor into the bakery not being open to the public. Clients wanting to drop off decorative items for their cake or pick up samples must have a appointment booked in advance. NO DROP INS.
How much are your cakes?
Because all of my cakes are priced individually by the complexity of their design, I do not have a standard price list.
How do I order a cake?
To start the order process, please send an email to shannon@bellabakedgoods.com containing all the following information:
- the date of your event
- the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, birthday, anniversary,etc)
- the event location, delivery address (delivery time will be determined by me)
- how many people you will need to serve
- your daytime phone number
- your email address
- two flavors from my flavor list you would like to sample (samples are $30, in the event you place an order, the $30 will be applied to the order)
- an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for including a picture
What's your payment policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due on or prior to your event date. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your 50% non-refundable deposit.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, money order, Paypal (6% admin fee applies) or Interac Email Money Transfer. Deposits are non-refundable. Cheques should be payable to Bella Baked Goods.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is available in the Fredericton/Oromocto areas. Delivery is available to the outlying areas or even to another city, you will be charged mileage at a rate of $0.40/KM.
I do not ship cakes, however, other baked goods such as cookies and Sugar Bombs can be shipped. You are responsible for shipping costs.
While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk. Bella Baked Goods is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client- transported cake once it has left the bakery.
